MAPI Error

Can someone tell me how to solve the following problem.

In a word file I go to File >> Send to >> Send as attachment
and I get the following error:

"Word couldn't send mail becaues of MAPI Failure: "Operation not supported"

Before I rebuilt my system this was featue was working before. Any thoughts?

maybe during installation of some older program mapi32.dll file has been
replaced with older version.

What program do you have set as your default email editor?
