MAPI Failure

Hi, running XP Pro and Office 2000 (SP1 & SP3 respectively). When in word
and I try to use the "Send to Mail Receipient as attachment" sometimes it
works although, it can take an age for the Outlook window to appear, and
other times it comes up with the following error:

Word couldn't send mail because of MAPI failure: unspecified error.

Is this a known issue - is there anything I can do to sort it?

I installed WinFaxPro a while ago and then started
getting this error. Took me a while to make the
connection but uninstalling the software did the trick!

If not WinFaxPro maybe something similar?
