Mapping Transitions Error when converting PP 2003 to PDF w/ Acroba

I am trying to convert a PP 2003 Presentation to PDF format using Acrobat 6.
The process hangs and gives a message that reads "mapping transitions". It
stops there. Can anyone help me with the cause and possible solution?

Try opening Acrobat 6.0 and clicking on Help, Detect and Repair.
