Can anybody tell me the best formula to use to calculate the profit margin
between two number when this maybe plus or minus

Margin = (price-cost)/Price
or
Margin = 1 - (cost/price)

=1-(Buy/Sell)

You could use

=(Sell-Buy)/Sell
