margin problem, question

N

NJ Termite

I'm trying to sit my margins, for the bottom it need to be 3/8 and the right
needs to be 5/8, so I used 0.375 for bottom and 0.625 for right side. But
for some reason it sets it to .38 and .63, and way to correct this or set
the margins a different way?

Thanks,

Mark

You always get a measure of rounding error in Word. But think what you're
concerned about here: 0.005 of an inch (less than the diameter of a pubic
hair): the paper feed of your printer isn't remotely as precise as that
anyway. Unless you need an output that is *seriously* precise in its
measures, in which case Word is not the product to use.

There's also speculation that Word is actually using the 0.375 you set but
representing it as 0.38. In any case, I'd be more concerned with whether
your printer can actually print that close to the edge--probably so if it's
a laser and not if it's an inkjet.
