Margins Change When Printing

When I view documents in Normal or Page Layout views in WORD 97 the margins
look fine. However, occasionally when I send it to print the margins are
pushed to the right by about 2 inches or more and the words run off the page.
These are usually documents that I have created using another application
where Visual Basic creates the Word document. I have to close Word and
recreate the document. Is there a way to get around this?

Two ideas for workarounds:
1. If you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat (not just the free
Reader), try printing to a .pdf file, and then use Acrobat to print the .pdf
to the printer.
2. If your printer has more than one personality (for example, my HP
Laserjet has PCL5, PCL6, and PostScript personalities), try installing
printer drivers for the alternate personalities, and then print to one of the
alternate printer drivers.
