Margins in Reports

I have set my margins in a report, but when I open the report the margins
default to their original settings. This cause a line to print on a second
page. Each report for each record should only be on one page. Also, it only
seems to happen on one printer (B&W). Doesn't happen on the color printer.

If you are using Access 2000 this is a known bug and is documented in
the Microsoft Knowledgebase article:
Q245021 'List of Fixed Problems in Microsoft Office 2000 Service
Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a)'
And specifically:
Q240826 'Lost Printer Settings when Name Autocorrect is turned on'

Turn off the Name AutoCorrect feature as a temporary 'fix'.
Then download and install the Service Release 1/1a.

Hi Fred,
I am using Access 2003 and the name autocorrect feature is turned off.
I made an mde file and the page setup margin settings always revert to the
original one. I'm thinking Access 2003 probably doesn't need the Service
Release 1/1a since it was a fix on the Office 2000. Am I wrong?

Also, I did try to download the SR 1/1a, but it said I already had it.

Is there a way to have the page setup remember the margins for mde file
reports?

Thank you,
Karl

Each version of Access / Office uses different Service Packs / Service
Releases.

If you are using Access 2003, you should be up to SP2, at least (my
MSAccess.exe file version is 11.6566.6568).

Use the Microsoft Office Update Web site to get your Access installation up
to date.

Hi Van,
I did the upgrade, but now my package wizard won't work. I get an error msg
429, unable to create object with the ActiveX.
I'm working with MS Support to help this problem.
Thank you,
Karl

Hi,
I did the update and sorted out the bugs with package wizard, but the
reports still go back to the default setting for the margins. Are there other
recommendations?
Thank you,
Karl
PS, my MSAccess.exe is 11.0.6566

If you were working with Microsoft Support, they may be able to help you
with the margin settings also.
