My new computer inadvertently chooses to leave some email messages in
my in box as unread even though I have opened the item and read the
message. This doesn't happen to all email in my in box. Most of the
time it functions normally and after I've opened, read, then closed
the email, it's marked as read (it's not bolded any longer) in the
in box. However, in some random instances, read email continues to be
displayed as bold, meaning it hasn't been read (which is incorrect).
This is also the case if I right click on the message and click "mark
as read." The message is still bold. Sometimes the bold will go away
after opening and closing the message 3-4 times. Has anyone else
experienced this and if so, how can it be solved?
