Marking sent items as read

Anyone know how to do this in Outlook 2003? I have
created a rule to move certain items into certain folders
once they are sent. Problem is that it marks
them "unread" and keeps them bold, so i have to manually
mark them unread. Does anyone know how to mark them as
unread automatically? This has been asked a few times

I don't think that option is available on outgoing messages.
