Marquee problem,...

Hi,

Is there a webpart to have a scrollling text using the MARQUEE html element.

I already did one through the html page, and linked it to Sharpoint server,
using Page Viewr.

It was working fine on the local server, But the clients macheines (Win XP)
could not view it. at all.

Why this is happening, and is there a workaround to have it working properly?

The .teamservices.caml news group is the newsgroup for CAML as used in
SharePoint Team Services.

a) this is not a CAML problem

b) SharePoint Team Services does not have webparts

Please therefore don't include the .teamservices.caml newsgroup in future
postings

there are two ways you can get the Marquee result.

1. use FP 2003 open this sharepoint aspx web page and insert the Marquee
text in whereever you like to place.
<marquee bgcolor="#FF0000">Hello, World</marquee>

2. If you do not have or hate to use Front Page 2003:))), you can add a
content editor web part on the page, then edit the source editor (not The
rich text editor)
<marquee bgcolor="#FF0000">Hello, World</marquee>

then you will get a Marquee result.

The problem with me was basicly that I depends on ActiveX Object ID for the
DATASource and DATAFld.

If you had shown some sense when selecting the newsgroups to post to I
wouldn't need to bother would I?
