Mass Mailings get only one name to appear in the to field?

How do I get only one name to appear in the "to" field when sending out a
mass mailing? I know it's possible because I receive mail from large
corporations and it appears the e-mail is only addressed to me.

How do I do this?

Either use the Bcc field or use Wordmail merge.
