Master project and sub projects Calendars

Using MS Project 2007 professional
Can the master project be of different calendar and the sub projects in it
have different calendars?

We have about 4 different enterprise calendars and the sub projects work in
different calendars.

When I try to save the master project with the sub projects ( enterprise
resources from AD with different calendars), the application is failing. If I
use resources locally with different calendars, Project doesnt fail.

Any help would be great!
