Master Project - dates are changed

Shyler

I have created several individual project files and combined into one Master
file with a resource pool. After I insert the projects into the master file
the dates for each of the individual projects change. I have verified that
my project calendars and definitions of the days are the same. I’ve also
ensured that I close each task down to a single line before inserting. There
must be something that I am missing but I just can't figure it out.

Hello Shyler,

If you expand the inserted projects, do the dates change to what
they should be? It's very common to see incorrect dates until you
expand the subproject.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

JulieS - thank you. It took me a while to figure it out but what was
happening is that the Project Start Date was wrong causing all my tasks to be
thrown off. Not sure why. But once I fixed that date my problem was fixed.
Appreciate your help.

You're welcome Shyler and thanks for the feedback. I'm glad to know
you were able to resolve the problem.
