i have a master project schedule made up of nothing other than "inserted
projects"...in other words, the master project has no tasks of it's own. of
course, each inserted project is represented as a summary task.
each of the inserted projects has been inserted read-only, because i don't
want users of the master project to be able to update the individual
projects.
the problem is that when i open the master project, the summary task bar
(gantt chart) for some (but not all) projects is in the wrong place in
time. when i "open" each projects by hitting the plus sign, the summary bar
relocates itself into the proper position. however, even if i save the
master project, the next time i open it, the ones that were wrong are wrong
again.
any ideas?
fyi...the inserted projects all use the same resouorce pool; the master
project is not connected to the resource pool.
thanks,
rick
