A vendor is installing project server for my company. I would like to
understand better exactly how our programs will be published into the system.
We have four functional areas that have their own timelines that will feed
into the same program. My understanding is that we will create a Master
Project and insert each timeline from the functional area into that MP. From
there we can add milestones to the subprojects within MP.
Does that jive with what is going to actually happen? Also, say I have 5
Programs, do I create a Master Project containing all 5 Master Projects in
order to tie overarching milestones to my entire portfolio?
