Master Project

Does anybody know why when you insert subprojects the project summary taks
does NOT equal the duration for each subproject you insert?

Hello Té,

Please see my reply to your exact same question back in May. Below is
the tiny url to that posting from Google Groups.

Let's start with that answer and then see where that leads us. Post
back with further questions as needed.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Té,

You're not giving us a lot to work with here.

Did you step through the example I gave? Did you see the change in
project summary task durations when the calendars were different?

If I recall correctly, you emailed me a file and I replied that the
calendars were different in the master project and subproject file --
are you sure that is not the case in this instance?

Please describe what you are doing -- I am *guessing* from your post
that you have a consolidated project with multiple inserted projects.
The project summary task of the master project is not equal to the sum
of the inserted projects?

Are the subprojects linked together or do they overlap?

With all respect, posting "nothing seems to work" makes it *very* hard
to troubleshoot as no one will know what you've done. You can see
your projects -- we can't.

Julie
