Linking master and subprojects on SharePoint without using 2003 enterprise server

I have to create a master project on SharePoint and to insert 1
subprojects into the master project. The subprojects are into differen
folders on Sharepoint.
Since there in no enterprise server license, I created a project an
inserted subprojects into the project. It gave me error message o
inserting which I could overcome by including the url of differen
subprojects(sharpoint locations).

Since the subprojects are in different folders on SharePoint
Project2003 does not allow me to link taks of different subprojects.

My query is that, if I do not have Enterprise Server licence, can
create interdependencies and link tasks between different subproject
(sbprojects are in different folders on sharepoint)? What are th
options to create master project in the situation where I am in?

Thanks

My experience is that it is NOT possible to link to MPP files from
Project to files stored in SharePoint. It appears to be becuase Project
does not recognise the http:// url's.

We overcome this easily by using SharePoint as the storage place for the
files. This is good as it permits check in/check out.

When it's time to work on the files, we 1) check out in SharePoint, and
then drag and drop them into a local file folder (usually a designated
subfolder of c:\mpp\. When we launch Project, we make the "start-in "
folder that folder. We often will have a custom global.mpt in that
folder. Because the start-in folder looks in the current folder first
for linked files and global.mpt, it wall works. Cross link the
subprojects pointing to that "current" folder, e.g. c:\mpp\project_1.
When dont' drag and drop the changed files back up to SharePoint and
check in.
