I have created a file with several slide masters in powerpoint 2003
when I send this to users with powerpoint 2000 they can view them okay
but when they send it to the printer powerpoint prints them all with the
one master slide.
Is there any way of stopping this ? maybe a printer setting ?

Microsoft began "staging" PowerPoint for Multiple Masters back with PowerPoint
97 and 2000. That is why PowerPoint 2000 recognizes your slides correctly when
the file is opened. However, full support for Multiple Masters wasn't added
until PowerPoint 2002. That is why your presentation will not print correctly
unless it is printed from PowerPoint 2002 or 2003. However, It should also
print fine in the PowerPoint 2003 Viewer, which can be downloaded and installed
from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...27-43ab-4f24-90b7-a94784af71a4&DisplayLang=en
I would recommend that the user download the Viewer and print from there.
They'll need to right click on the slide show once it is running and select
"Print" from the menu. All slides will be printed. There is no option to print
handouts or notes pages however.
