Match help

J

Jim

Hello,

Report One
In Column A I have account numbers from one report,
In Column B:H is the data that I'm counting.
Each column has headers. Not all cells have data returned, but when it is
returned it shows a 1.

Report Two
In column J I have account numbers from the second report
In Columns K:Q is the data that I'm counting
Each column has headers. Not all cells have data returned, but when it is
returned it shows a 1

What I need help with, is matching column A and J and then matching columns
B:H and K:Q. I need to be alerted if any of the data is different.

I hope this is clear. And thank you very much for the help.

Let's see if we understand this:

Report 1

......A.....B...C...D...E...F...G...H
......x......1....1.........1...1....1......

Report 2

......J.....K...L...M...N...O...P...Q
......x....1....1......................1.......
I need to be alerted if any of the data is different.

Ok, what result do want based on the above?

The first link asks for login credentials.

This link shows me a sample file. The layout is what I thought it would be.

Ok, so tell me what result you're looking for?

Account # 1183-06, all the data matches so what result do you want ? If all
the data didn't march what result would you want?

I would like a third table that will return the account number when data from
one of the adjacent columns do not match. Although 1183-06 matches, some of
them do not. I gave you a sampling of the spreadsheet, there are several
dozens rows.

For example:
Report One:
[email protected]
386-05..... 1 .... 1 ..... .... .... 1 ......
455-05..... 1 .... 1 ..... .... .... 1 ......

Report Two:
[email protected]
386-05..... 1 .... ..... .... .... 1 ......
455-05..... 1 .... 1 ..... .... .... 1 ......

Return
[email protected]
386-05..... .... 1 ..... .... .... ......

The result will be a third table that shows me that 386-05 did not have a
count for column 325.

I hope this helps.
and thanks so much.
