Hi al
I have a spreadsheet of data which I need to transcribe onto a reporting calendar on a second sheet, including highlighting the start date thru to end date cells on the row...
Columns & info I have
A B C D E F
Product Buyer Demographic Sale Type Start Date End Date Deadlin
I'm using a very basic Pivot table to summarise a big list of booking schedules into the above column formats (excluding duplicate details and summarising to show each sales campaign period on a new row - obviously each campaign has a different start/end date
What I need to happen: (Not sure if this will be a formula or a macro
Firstly I need the system to find the row on the "12 month Calendar" sheet that matches to the info in columns A
(The user will have already copied and pasted that info over to the calendar)
Then I need the system to automatically find and shade the appropriate cells covering the start date in column E thru to and including the end date in column F
The "12 month Calendar" date columns run from column "D" thru to and including "BD" showing a week commencing Sunday date per column
If anyone can advise the best way to summarise this on the calendar I would greatly appreciate it
