I have numerous Excel lists that I need to merge into a master
database. Some lists have partial, identical information, some have
similar info with different formatting, some may newer or outdated
info.
I would like to first write a query that will consolidate all
identical entries (sans their primary keys), producing a table of all
contacts who are unique and eliminating all identical dupes.
I would then like to take a query that will match first name and last
name, and then either prompt me to choose the best info, or that could
automatically take the most recent info, and consolidate those
entries.
If you know of any good resources/tutorials for matching queries, I'd
really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Kevin.
