Material Resources

If I had a set of items that are resources (servers, desktops, audio
equipemnt) that is used throguht a project
is this considered a material resources?
Should all these things being a "table" like how the Enterprise Resource
Pool has the employee names, is this the same
for the material items.
This may a be a silly question....but want to be sure nonetheless.

Carlos,

Servers, desktops, audio equipments are not "material resources" ! It would
be a pity !
Material resources are consumable items such as bricks if the task is "Built
the wall" and you need to manage the cost of the bricks.

It depends on the context in which you want to control or account for them.
In many cases these would be seen as overhead or fixed costs. If you're
looking to schedule them, you need to represent them as work resources. If
you're using them up over the course of the project (consuming them or their
entire cost) then use a material resource, which is the least likely of
three choices.
