Matrix Function Operations

I can't seem to get the matrix functions (MMULT, MINVERSE) to work
correctly.

When I use the Insert Function command and select the ranges that correspond
to the input matrix (or matrices), the function dialog box displays the
answer just under the input array boxes. Then at the bottom of the dialog
box it says "formula result is __" and shows a single number. This single
number is what displays in the worksheet.

How can I get the entire output matrix to display in the worksheet?

Select the array where you want it, type in the formula in the formula bar
and enter it with
ctrl + shift & enter. Or if you have to use the insert function command:
First select the result array, do the insert function stuff, select the
arrays and click OK
THEN without deselecting anything press F2, then enter again but this time
with
ctrl + shift & enter. I assume you get one value in the top leftmost cell of
the selected
array, by pressing F2 you'll go back to edit and then you can array enter it
properly..
