I came know that in Ms Project 2003, Maximum number of acitivities allowed in
a single project is 10,000. How will they increase the number of activities
100 times from Project 2003 to Project 2007..!!!??

I believe the limit has been 1,000,000 tasks in Microsoft Project for quite
a while now. Do you seriously need more tasks than that in a project? If
so, you really should break up that project into smaller projects with a
more manageable number of tasks in each. Hope this helps.

Madhu,
Just to confirm what Dale stated. Project 98 has a task (activity) limit
that is "limited only by available memory". With the release of Project
2000, that number was set at 1 million.

I agree whole heartedly with Dale, if you have a project plan that has
more than 10,000 tasks, you're asking for trouble and really need to
break the plan into multiple manageable subprojects.
