Max Number of Pictures in Photogallery

What is the maximum number of pictures in a photogallery.

I don't get successfully publishing if I try and include more than 50 or so
in one gallery.

Also seems to like just publishing one gallery at a time.

I take sports photography, and I want to publish hundreds of photos to
web...It's very time-consuming to create multiple photo galleries.

If you have too many thumbnails on a page it will probably be slow to load.
I suggest you put them in categories and use no more than 30 on a page. Your
viewers will appreciate that approach.
