Max number of rows in table?

D

Don Culp

In FP 2003 is there a limit to the number of rows in a table? If so, what?

Thanks,
Don Culp

I think it's right at lots and lots - somewhere around there.

Seriously, why do you ask?

I don't have my calculator with me but as I recall right now, those two are
equivalent. 8)

Because I'm switching from FP 98 to FP 2003. FP 98 had a rather low limit
(as I recall) and I just wanted to know if the same might be true of FP
2003.

Do you have a more definitive answer?

There is a limit on how many lines of "code" FrontPage can handle in an
html document.
iirc it's somewhere around 32000.

There also used to be a problem with the number of tables and IE, but
that was in earlier versions
of IE
