max text characters in pivottable cell

I have made a pivottable out of a list which contains answers to
survey. The comments making up some answers are more than 25
characters long. I have discovered that these answers are truncate
when they appear in my pivottable.
Is there a way to get round this so that all of my text will appear
or is this the maximum amount of text allowable in a pivottable cel
and I am going to lose some information.

The character limit in a pivot table cell is 255, and as far as I know,
this setting can't be changed manually or programmatically.
