maximizing form when loaded

Is there a way to automatically maximize a form when it
is opened?

Put the following line of code in the Activate event of the form.

Me.Maximize

I put in that code but it just causes an error upon
loading the form. Is there anything I'm supposed to add
to it or a setting I need to check first?
