MAXIMUM POSSIBLE REMINDER TIME

In Outlook 2000 the longest reminder time available is 2 days. I am told it
should be longer - probably 2 weeks. Is there a setting I need to change
somewhere?

Where? You should be able to whatever you want by typing in the appropriate amount.
