Maximum size of outlook.pst file

I am using MS office 2003. But it still has the 97-2002 ansi system.
How do I switch to the new system (I don't know what it is called) - and is
there any limit to the outlook.pst file in the new system?
Thank you,
portocar

The new system's limit is really theoretical and it's more likely that you'd
run out of disk space.

Create a new PST file (File | New | Outlook Data File) and specify that you
want it to be an Outlook 2003 format file. Then select the items/subfolders
in your old PST file and drag/drop those items to the new PST file.

Go to Tools | E-mail Accounts | View or Change E-mail Accounts and change
the default delivery store to be the new PST file. Then, if you're done
moving items from the old PST file, you can close the old PST file.

Hi,

I am getting this error message when I am trying to open a pst file:

"*.pst is not a personal folders file" and it is only 29 MB in size.

Please help me to solve this problem.
