Micheal

Hi,
I have 9 administrative project in departments and we have only two tasks
(vacations and sick) .
I set the assignment units to those resources is 100% to sick and 100% to
vacation for each resource.
now those projects working fine and reporting generated efficiently . tell
me one thing if i change the assignment units to all resources to 0% on both
tasks of all administrative projects .it will disturb the hours in
administrative project of resources or not.
because I see the FAQ in news group in which the Dale howard tell me that we
must assign 0% assignment units to resources into administrative project
tasks.

pls reply me soon.

regards

Micheal

Please forgive my mistake in the previous post, as I was working from
memory. In an administrative project, when you assign the resource to an
administrative task, the system assigns the resource at 100% Units and 0
hours of Work. Therefore, I would recommend that you do not mess with your
administrative project. Sorry about any confusion I may have caused you.
Hope this helps.

that means I reassign 0% assignment units to previous resources and when add
new resources to this administrative project I will assign 0% assignment
units to them.

Because you have changed the default settings of the Administrative project,
I do not feel comfortable giving you any more advice than I have already
given. I would suggest that you change the Units for each assignment to 0%
for each resource assigned to each task and see what results. If you don't
like the results, then live with what you've got until you create the next
Administrative project. Hope this helps.
