MDB version and compact utilities

I am looking to find Access version that was used to create a bunch of mdb
files. Is there any utility to report Access version by looking into mdb
files?

Similar I am looking for a way to defrag/compact several hundreds of Access
databases that have different versions, is any non-specific version tool
available for this?
