I have a secured database using mdw workgroup file and am
now trying to make into an mde. The feature is dimmed
out and therefore I cannot create an mde. I am logged
onto the database with admin rights. Any clues? Thanks

Are you using Access XP? Are you trying to make an MDE file for a database
that was created in Access 2000 format?
