.mdi no longer works in Office 2007 Professional

I just upgraded to Office 2007 Professional from Office 2003... My .mdi
files are no longer viewable. I saw a lot of discouraging posts about there
being no viewer from Microsoft. Does anybody know of a working .mdi viewer
(I downloaded one such posts suggestion, and it crashes)...or do I need to
return Office 2007 and re-install Office 2003?

Hi Kenricha,

As with Office 2003 MS Office document imaging (the Office app that handles .MDI files) is an optional installation feature of
Office 2007. From Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel choose the Microsoft Office 2007 listing and change the MS
Office Document Imaging feature to 'run from my computer'
