Meeting Notification text does not appear in Calendar

Hello, I create a meeting in Calendar which generates invitations to the
invitees, the invitations contain meeting details such as conference number
mtg ID automatically. The invitees see the text of the notification when
they receive them but the scheduler when they go to the time of the meeting
and open it in calendar the text of the appointment is blank. If I close and
open outlook then go back to the appointment and open it, the text appears
in the notification. Does anyone know what could be happening?? I am running
Outlook 2002 (XP). I also installed a MeetingPlace plugin from Cisco Systems
which generates the text of the invitation but the plugin is not the issue.
If you can tell what would cause notifications to be blank in calendar that
would be wonderful! Thank you for the help.
