Meeting request - Accepted user displayed multiple times in email

This has occurred every few months and I have not been able to reproduce it.

We are an Exchange 2000 sp3 w/rollups /Office XP sp3 organization.
The meeting originator sends out a meeting request to one or many users and
receives a notification back when they accept or decline - standard stuff.
When the originator either opens the response email or views the meeting in
his outlook calendar view, the users requested for the meeting are displayed
individualy multiple times. For example, 4 users would display 16 names EACH
in the calendar view. This is not replicated on the other attendee's
calendars.

Any ideas/comments?
