Meeting request is not saved to calendar automatically

Hello,

I have this problem at work. When someone sends me a
meeting request, it is not saved into my calendar
automatically. I need to open that item and then it is
saved even thought I have accepted it yet.

I has worked earlier and now when I returned from my
holiday and I missed many meetings because I had over 500
emails and did not read all of them. Therefore I did not
open the meeting request that was there.

Can anyone help me on this?
