Meeting request not automatic even if I check the automatic option

Hi:
When receiving a meeting request, my calendar does not
automatically populate even if I check the automatic
option in TOOLS>OPTIONS>CALENDAR OPTION>RESOURCE
SCHEDULING. It used Outlook XP.
