memo field

When I try to display a memo filed with a text box that is larger than 265 characters, it cuts off the memo. The entire memo is saved in the table but the report cuts it off.

Are you sure the report is cutting the characters off? Open the datasheet
view of the report's record source to see if the characters are being
truncated in the query. If so, you might need to remove phrases like
"DISTINCT", "DISTINCTROW", "GROUP BY"...

Duane,

I've noticed this will also happen if you use the format
property of the box to force upper case. Might be an update
I don't have but it happens on my development machine and
all clients.

Ernie,
You are 100% correct about the format property. From my experience, 95% of
the issues can be blamed on the SQL of the report's record source since most
users don't futz much with the format property for text. If anyone searches
this thread, it is a good point to make.
