Memory Configuration Option

Can anyone advise me on a possible registry memory
configuration to increase system response\performance
while using Microsoft Visio 2002?
I've attempted the configuration of the following reg key
to force an account for the on board data cache.

OS: XP
Onboard Cache: 512k
PC RAM: 512MB

Already tried:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Session
Manager\Memory Management, SecondLevelDataCache to 200 HEX
