Memory could not be "written"

Doug

I have multiple V2k files that can be opened on a NT40
workstation with V2k, but on any machine that has been
upgraded to XP and V2K loaded we can't open the same file.

DDE Server Window: Visio32.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x77f581bd" referenced memory
at "0x5059b59a". The memory could not be "written".

Hello Doug,

Is the file system different in between NT and XP? These kind of issues are possible if the files are residing in a FAT
filesystem and after an upgrade with the file system as NTFS. Try the following: move the files to another NT machine with
NTFS/FAT partition - open them and save them - then try to open in the upgraded system. Please let me know the results.
