Memory usage

Mike

I have been having this problem for several months, MS Outlook uses 40 - 60 %
of my processor for 6 seconds every 5 - 6 seconds. I have turned off all my
plugins and removed my com adins i have uninstalled outlook twice and
uninstalled office once still the same thing i have googled for any
sugestions and followed most of them (The ones that were not total BS) to no
aval. Anyone have any sugestions. Also this has only started after my system
was reloaded. I use process explorer to see if there any process running
under outlook that might be causing a problem(None) i also see that if i
leave outlook running my virtual memorystarts filling up even though outlook
is the only running process (it's like outlook is taking my ram and not
releasing it) it starts at 500 mg and if i leav outlook running by the next
day all the ram is gone and im getting out of virtual memory errors (I have
to leave my outlook running because if i don't my i-phone gets filled up with
junk mail and sometimes i'm on call and have to respond to any e-mails sent
from customers)

If you close outlook and restart using the /safe switch, does it use the
processor as much?
see http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/safemode.htm if you need help using
safe mode.

Yes it does. Another wierd thing happened when i uninstalled it when you
reinstall it you have to re-setup your mail settings like what mail box you
have mine didn't as to say that all of my e-mail settings were the same as
before i uninstalled the program.

I fixed the problem basicly i just created a personal folder on the desktop
closed outlook and reopened it and recreated my exchange e-mail account and
now it uses bearly 1% and only 76,640 k of ram.
