Menu Bar Missing

somehow the main menu bar on my microsoft word 2000 has disappeared.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling word but it has not brought
back the main menu bar. Does anyone know how to get the menu bar to
re-display again?

Press Alt+T together and you should see something pop out. In that
click on customize or pressing C should open up the customize dialog
box. In this dialog box you should see a set of options and in this
make sure that the menu bar is selected. Let me know if this helps.
