Menu only appears after selecting Tools, and Customize

I have a very strange problem. When I open a template that has a customized
menu, the menu does not show up unless I click on Tools, Customize. When I
close the Customize box, the menu appears. I don't know why this is
happening. We are using Word 2003. The template opens correctly on other
people's computers with the same version of Word. I tried deleting the Data
registry key, but that did not help.

Are you the person who posted in another group? An almost identical problem
description, but with the mention that they've tracked it down to the Adobe
Addin?
