Merge Two Documents

S

Steve W.

I'm trying to write a macro to merge to Word documents into a third document.
I want to intersprese the pages. For example Doc1 page1 then Doc2 page1
then Doc1 page2 then Doc1 page3 then Doc2 page2 and so on.

I'm using Word 2007 and both of the merging documents would be open. The
macro would be contained in the third document so that on open of Doc3 the
macor would fire opening Doc1 and Doc2 and then proceed to merge them
together.

Is this possible?

Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Steve

There are no 'pages' in a Word document. Word is not a page layout
application. What you are trying to achieve would be difficult to achieve by
macro without an in depth knowledge of what each flowed 'page' contained.
