Merge (Word/Access) graphics

I'm creating a database, and have set up a catalog mail
merge. I've input graphics (.bmp) -photos and maps - into
the form I created for the database. When I do the merge I
get a message saying long binary or text value instead of
the photo or map. Any suggestions?
