Merging from Access to a word document

Hi there,

I am trying to merge details from a query in to a word document. I have
successfully created the word template documents and can change the source
data to be from the query concerned. However, if I close the word document
and return to it at a later stage, the document has reset the merge
properties to look at one of the tables of data rather than the query I
originally selected.

This has been driving me up the wall. How can I make sure the merge
document only looks to the query I specify rather than reverting back to a
table?
