Merging Labels

I have created a data source in excel for mailing labels. I am using the Avery template 8462 in Word. When I complete the merge there is data merged into the bottom border of the labels and is throwing off the rest of the print job. I have over 30 pages of labels that will not line up properly. If I am using the template, then why is information merging into the unusable footer? I have done numerous merges for labels in the past using a PC and I have never had this problem.

I had the same thing happening, something happened to the template label
files when doing the merge to a new document. I selected all in the label
document with all labels under edit and set the bottom margin in format -
document, this fixed it for me, I don't recall the bottom margin I used, I
believe the first page still has the bottom margin, you can get the margin
from this page.
