Merging two excel files

I was wondering if anyone knows how to merge two files of
information that have at least one common field.

One of the files recieves a feed from an Oracle Database
so the one file will still need to be able to recieve that
feed.

Are you familiar with the VLOOKUP Worksheet Function.
Don't know if that will solve your problem but you've not
indicated how the files which I presume you mean
worksheets are to be combined.
