Message about not send taskupdates to resources which are delete?

We have a strange problem with a customer:

When they publish updates or republish we get an message dialog with the
following message (translated from dutch):

To some resources is not yet send an update with the message that task
assignments are removed. There will be an update send now.

The problem is, that no update of new task assignments are send.

Anyone had this problem before? Anyone know how to resolve this?

How can I check if an removed assignment is still active for an update
message. Is there somewhere a table or column that I can see which assignment
and which resource is causing the problem. The normal way to check the
resourceallocation only shows the assigned taks, and not the tasks that had a
resource that is removed.

I suspect that a deleted resource has a removement of an assignment and now
this update can't be sent anymore. I want to change the records, so that the
uypdate is not send.

The project is not publisable anymore due to this problem.
